City of Johannesburg Student Internship – Graphic Design & Events

If you’re a student living in Johannesburg and want real‑world experience in marketing and graphic design, the City of Johannesburg (CoJ) has a job opening for you. This internship is part of the City’s new Student Internship Programme 2026 (Circular 033/2025). It gives you up to 18 months of hands‑on work inside the Group Finance Department’s Communication & Stakeholder Management Branch. You’ll help create graphics for the city’s websites, social media, and printed materials while learning how to run a professional design project from start to finish.

The application deadline is Thursday, 27 November 2025. If you’re accepted, you’ll work at 61 Jorrisen Street, Thuso House, Braamfontein.

  • R3,500 a month if you’re still studying.
