Buffalo City Metropolitan Municipality Internship 2025 – 2027
If you are a South African graduate with a degree or diploma and you are looking for real work experience, the Buffalo City Metropolitan Municipality (BCMM) has a chance for you. They are running an Internship Programme 2025 / 2027 that will give you two years of practical training inside a local government office. These internships are open only to unemployed graduates in the Eastern Cape, and the work will help you learn skills that match what you studied.
The programme starts in East London, Eastern Cape. The deadline to apply is 27 October 2025. What the Internship Looks Like
When you join the programme you will be hired on a legal contract that lasts for two years. During that time you will also be helping the city run better services for residents. All interns are paid and the Municipality commits to help each one grow a little more each month.
