What the learnership is
This is a 12‑month, SASSETA‑accredited programme that gives you a National Certificate in General Security Practices. You will study in a classroom and work on real sites such as mines, retail outlets and corporate campuses in Phokeng, Rustenburg, North West.
Who can apply
- South African citizens aged 18 – 27
- Matric (Grade 12) certificate
- Valid ID and no criminal record
- Medically and physically fit
- Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English
What you will gain
- National Certificate – recognised across South Africa
- Hands‑on experience in high‑risk environments (mining, retail, corporate)
- Skills in risk management, surveillance, patrol, access control and incident reporting
