Andru Mining is looking for South African youth to join a four‑month training program at its Nokeng Mine. About the Learnership

Open Positions

The program has two main roles:

  1. Blasting Assistant – 5 spots
  2. ADT Operator – 5 spots

Both positions are designed to build practical skills in a real mining setting. If you finish high school (Grade 12 or the equivalent), you’re eligible to apply for either role.


Blasting Assistant Requirements

  • Grade 12 or an equivalent qualification
  • Ability to earn a Certificate of Fitness (Red Ticket)
  • Must live in a nearby community or farm – proof needed
  • Good communication and basic business sense
  • Ready to train on different shifts

ADT Operator Requirements

  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s licence (must have one)
  • Certificate of Fitness (Red Ticket)
  • Pass a Dover test (a basic safety exam)
  • Live in a local community or farm – proof needed
  • Good communication and business sense
  • Willing to train during various shifts

Bonus for ADT Operators – If you already have operating licences or certificates, that helps.
