- Be a South African citizen, under 35 years old
- Be registered, or planning to register, for the final year of a National Diploma in Agriculture – either Crop Production or Irrigation Systems – at a recognised South African higher‑education institution in 2026

- Not have worked full‑time in the same field for more than one year
- Live in or be willing to relocate to Pretoria North
