The Civilian Secretariat for Police Service (CSPS) is opening a fresh internship program for 2026. All positions are located in Pretoria, Gauteng. The stipend is the same for every role and you’ll be paid every month for the 24‑month contract. Every internship offers a chance to work on important projects and learn how policy and oversight shape policing in South Africa.
How to apply
- Fill out a Z83 form – this is the standard application form for South African public‑service jobs. You can get it from any Public Service Department or download it from the Department of Public Service and Administration website.
- Write a clear CV – include past jobs, dates, and what you did in each role.
- Send your documents – do not send copies of certificates at this stage. Shortlisted candidates will be asked for certified copies later.
