Free State Sport, Arts, Culture & Recreation Graduate Internships 2025

Want a real job that helps you grow after you finish school? The Free State Department of Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation is opening a 24‑month graduate internship for unemployed South African graduates. It’s a chance to learn on the job, earn a monthly stipend of R7 860.50, and maybe even land a permanent position in the public sector. The internship will run from 2025 to 2027, and it’s based in Bloemfontein. Don’t miss the deadline – you have until 14 November 2025 to send in your application.

Who can apply?

You’re a good fit if you meet all these points:

  • You’re currently unemployed.
  • You’re a South African citizen.
  • You haven’t worked as an intern or contractor in a public or private job before – this is for first‑time applicants only. If you hide past internships, you’ll be disqualified.
  • You hold the qualification that matches one of the job posts listed below.

If you win, you’ll sign a 24‑month contract, be posted to a unit that suits your degree, and pick up real workplace skills that boost your future career.
