The Office of the Chief Justice (OCJ) is running a SASSETA‑funded Graduate Internship Programme for the years 2025 to 2027. The program offers 24 months of real experience, a monthly stipend, and the chance to work in different courts and government offices across the country.

Where will you work?
You could be based in Midrand, Gauteng, KwaZulu‑Natal, the Western Cape, or the Free State.
Who can apply?
You need to be a South African citizen who has never done an internship before, and you must be unemployed at the time of your application. The program is open to everyone, and people with disabilities are especially welcome.

- Form – fill out the new Z83 form, which you can download from either dpsa.gov.za or judiciary.org.za.
- CV – attach a recent CV that shows your education and any relevant experience.
- Certification – if you get selected, you’ll need certified copies of your matric certificate, academic transcripts, and ID.
- Foreign qualifications – if you studied abroad, SAQA must evaluate your credentials.
- Unemployment check – only graduates who are currently unemployed can join.
- No prior internship – you must not have completed any internship before.
