What the opportunity is
Westcol TVET College will pay R150 per one‑hour tutoring session at its Randfontein and Carletonville campuses. The roles are temporary and focus on selected Report 191 and NCV subjects.
Who can apply (eligibility)
You must be an unemployed former Westcol student who has passed the relevant qualification with the minimum grades listed for the subject you wish to tutor. Below are the subjects and their academic thresholds.
Randfontein Campus – Report 191
- Information Processing N5 & N6 – Pass N6 Management Assistant with ≥ 75 % in Information Processing and Computer Practice
- Computer Practice N5 – Same as above
- Personnel Management N4 & N5 – Pass Human Resources Management N6 with ≥ 65 % average in HR subjects
- Marketing Management N4, N5 & N6; Sales Management N5 – Pass Marketing Management N6 with ≥ 70 % average
- Applied Management N4 – Pass Hospitality Management N6 with 60‑70 % average in Applied Management N5‑N6
- Catering Theory N4 – Same as above
- Public Finance N5 – Pass Management N6 with 65‑70 % in Public Finance N5‑N6
- Management Communication N4 – Pass Human Resource or Marketing Management N6 with 60‑70 % in Management Communication N4
Carletonville Campus – Report 191
- Information Processing N5 & N6 – Pass N6 Management Assistant and achieve ≥ 75 % average in Information Processing and Computer Practice
Randfontein Campus – NCV
- Office Data Processing (Level 2‑4) – Pass Level 4, N6 Computer Practice, or N6 Information Processing with 60‑70 % average
- Client Services and Human Relations Level 4 – Pass Hospitality Level 4 or Hospitality N6 with 60‑70 % average
- Hospitality Services Level 4 – Pass Hospitality Services Level 4 or Hospitality N6 with 60‑70 % average
