The Durban ICC ISO Graduate Internship Programme 2026 is now open, and you can start building a career in quality, safety and environmental management this summer.
What the internship is
Durban ICC is looking for South African graduates to join its ISO Department. The role lasts 24 months on a fixed‑term contract. You will help keep the centre’s ISO management systems up to date and support audits, document control and compliance work.
Who can apply
You must have finished Grade 12 and hold a National Diploma or degree. Acceptable fields of study include:
- Quality Management
- Microbiology
- Safety Management
- Environmental Science
- Chemical Technology
If your qualification does not match, you may be automatically disqualified.
What you will gain
You will earn a monthly stipend of R5 000. The internship gives you hands‑on experience with:
- ISO management systems and document control
- Internal and external audits
- Health‑and‑safety and environmental reporting
- Waste‑management records
- Compliance meetings and employee inductions
- Using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Basic procurement tasks in the JDE system
These skills are valuable for future roles in quality assurance, safety, and environmental compliance.

Tips to improve your chances
- Double‑check that you have completed Grade 12 and a relevant diploma or degree.
