What the opportunity is

Central Johannesburg TVET College (CJC) has partnered with the Insurance Sector Education and Training Authority (INSETA) to offer 29 funded workplace‑based learning placements. The programme runs for 18 months and provides a monthly stipend of R3 500. It is designed for students who have completed an N6 qualification but still require the practical training needed for a National Diploma.

Who can apply

You must meet all of the following criteria:

  • Be a current CJC student.
  • Hold a completed N6 Certificate in one of these fields:
    • Human Resource Management
    • Financial Management
    • Marketing Management
    • Business Management
  • Need the remaining 18 months of workplace‑based learning to qualify for your National Diploma.

What you gain

During the 18‑month placement you will:

  • Earn a stipend of R3 500 per month to help with transport, meals and basic costs.
