Time is short to get a foot‑step into South Africa’s biggest digital employer – Vodacom Early Careers Programmes 2027 close on 31 August 2026, and the positions start early next year in Johannesburg.

What the opportunity is

Vodacom is launching two early‑career pathways for 2027:

  • Discover Graduate Programme – a two‑year, permanent leadership track.
  • Internship Programme – a 12‑month paid placement.

Both programmes give you real‑world exposure in a fast‑moving digital environment.

Who can apply

Graduate (Discover) Programme

  • Finish an undergraduate degree (BCom, BSc, BTech or equivalent) by the end of 2026.
  • National Qualification Framework (NQF) Level 7 (or a three‑year National Diploma at NQF 6 in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Software Engineering, Information Systems or IT).
  • South African citizen (by birth, naturalisation or permanent resident). Applicants from DR Congo, Kenya, Lesotho, Mozambique, Ethiopia, Egypt and Tanzania may also apply for market‑specific consideration.
  • Maximum two years of post‑study corporate work experience.
  • Minimum overall academic result 65 %.

Internship Programme

  • Be completing or have completed an undergraduate degree (BCom, BSc, BTech) by the end of 2026.
  • Same NQF and Diploma rules as the graduate route.
  • South African citizen by birth.
  • Less than two years of formal work experience after studies.
  • At least 65 % aggregate in the most recent academic results.
