Western Cape Government Graduate Internship 2026 – Apply by 13 May

Urgent: The Western Cape Department of Health and Wellness is now accepting applications for its Graduate Internship Programme 2026. Applications close on 13 May 2026 and the work will be based in the Western Cape.

What the internship is

This is a paid 12‑month programme that gives fresh graduates real‑world experience in a government department. You will receive a monthly stipend that ranges from R8 174.75 to R9 861.50 depending on your qualification.

Who can apply

You must meet all of the following:

  • Be aged between 18 and 35 years
  • Hold a Diploma or Degree at NQF Level 6 – 9
  • Provide proof of your qualification
  • Have good written and verbal communication skills
  • Be comfortable using a computer
