This is a two‑year contract based in Tzaneen, Limpopo, with a salary of R110,088 a year (before taxes). What the Internship Involves
As an Expenditure Intern, you’ll help the department do the day‑to‑day tasks that keep the municipality running smoothly. Your main duties include:

- Supporting finance functions – filling out reports, tracking budgets and keeping records organized.
- Helping with expenditure management – learning how to allocate and control the town’s spending.
You’ll gain hands‑on experience with municipal finance and get a clear picture of how city budgets are created and monitored.
Who Should Apply?
We’re looking for recent graduates or students who have finished a qualification in Accounting or Finance. The following degrees or diplomas are acceptable:
- BCom (Bachelor of Commerce)
- BTech (Bachelor of Technology)
- National Diploma
- Any other relevant accounting or finance qualification

Salary and Timeframe
- Annual salary: R110,088 (before taxes and other mandatory deductions).
- Contract length: 24 months – a full two‑year internship.
