About the Position
As a Customer Service Centre Agent, you will be the first point of contact for anyone who needs help with SANRAL’s tolling system. Your everyday tasks include:
- Answering questions from road users about eTags and toll payments
- Issuing and updating eTags
- Troubleshooting problems with customer accounts
- Making sure every transaction follows SANRAL’s rules

What You Need to Apply
Education
You need a Level 5 Higher Certificate or something similar. Acceptable fields are:

Experience

- Comfortable with online portals and data entry
- Knowledge of SANRAL services such as:

Your Main Responsibilities
Customer Service
- Offer friendly, professional help to all callers and e‑mail users

- Help with Account‑Based Ticketing (ABT) questions
- Meet or beat the Customer Satisfaction Scorecard targets
Customer Account Registration
- Set up new customer profiles
- Verify and record customer details accurately
- Keep the database up to date
Complaints & Problem Solving
- Handle difficult or upset customers calmly
- Pass on complex cases to the right people
- Protect SANRAL’s public image
Financial Administration
- Follow strict cash‑handling rules
- Reconcile money at the end of each shift
- Make sure all reports are correct
Reporting
- Produce daily, weekly, or monthly reports when needed
- Offer feedback to improve processes
