Position: Internship – PWD Coordinator
Location: Traduna Building
You will help plan and run programs that support Persons with Disabilities (PWDs). This means working with local groups, keeping records, and making sure everything follows the City of Johannesburg’s rules and procedures. You’ll be a key player in making sure people with disabilities get the help they need.
Who Can Apply
- You must have finished Grade 12 (Matric).
- You should be studying a Bachelor of Social Sciences at a Level 7 university program (at least 360 credits).
- You have to live in the City of Johannesburg.
- You need real‑world workplace experience as part of your course, but you must not have done a similar internship before.
What You’ll Learn
- How to design and run projects for PWDs.
- How to support the Targeted Beneficiaries Unit with everyday administrative tasks.
- How to talk with both city staff and outside partners.
- How to keep all information private and handle it responsibly.
