Dwarsrivier Chrome Mine Internships 2026
The mine is a top producer of chrome ore and is part of Assore Limited. It sits near the towns of Lydenburg and Burgersfort. The company wants to grow young talent and improve mining skills in South Africa. If you’re a recent graduate who wants to learn the trade, these internships could be a great fit.
As an intern you’ll work side‑by‑side with experienced staff. You’ll learn the day‑to‑day operations of a mine, see how technical teams solve problems, and gain skills that employers love. After the two‑year period you’ll be ready for a career in mining or a related field.
All interns must meet the mine’s Employment Conditions. This means passing a medical check and following the Mine Health and Safety Act 29/1996. The mine treats everyone fairly and follows its Employment Equity Plan and Mining Charter during hiring.
