Limpopo Education Opportunities: Learner Support Agent 2025/26 Apply

Are you a South African learner who is ready to help other students in your community? The Limpopo Department of Education is looking for brave, caring people to join its Learner Support Agent (LSA) team. These are fixed six‑month jobs that run from November 2025 to April 2026. If you are fresh out of school and have a strong desire to make a difference, keep reading.

LSAs help schools keep students safe, healthy and on track. They will work with teachers, local groups and government offices to support young people who face tough challenges. The role is temporary but crucial – it gives our schools extra help when they need it most.

What the Programme Does

The LSA programme focuses on three main areas:

  • Providing emotional support and counseling for students who need it.
  • Helping with day‑to‑day problems like school bullying, health issues and family matters.
  • Running projects about life skills, HIV/AIDS and other important health topics.

LSAs work closely with School-Based Support Teams (SBSTs) and local partners to ensure every student receives the help they need. They are the people who go to classrooms, homes and community centres to listen, advise and guide.
