What Is This Opportunity?

York Timbers is offering a Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Apprenticeship Programme for people who have finished their classroom studies and need hands‑on experience before they graduate. The apprenticeship takes place in the Roodekop area, where you will learn in the forestry and manufacturing sectors.

Who Should Apply?

  • South African citizens aged 18–35 who are currently unemployed.
  • Have finished Grade 12 with Mathematics and Physical Science.
  • Hold an N6 certificate in either Electrical Engineering or a Millwright‑related trade.
  • Live in the Roodekop surrounding area.

What You’ll Gain

Technical Skills

  • Understand and work with electrical systems and industrial machinery.
  • Learn to maintain and troubleshoot equipment.
