What Are the Apprenticeship / Learnership Options?
You can pick one main subject and one backup subject from this list:

- Mechatronics Technician
Choosing both a first and a second preference helps the selection team match you to the best slots.
Who Can Apply?
You must satisfy at least one of the following academic paths:
- Finished Grade 12 (Matric) with passes in core Mathematics and Physical Science.
- Finished a National Certificate 3 (N3) with at least four subjects, including core Mathematics and Physical Science, or a higher qualification.
If you only have “Maths Literacy,” that will not be enough.
Extra Requirements
- Be able to attend interviews that a selection panel will arrange.
- Show one primary and one secondary training choice.
- Agree to study part‑time; you’ll still get a regular paycheck.
- Do not work overtime unless you receive permission.
These rules keep the programme fair and make sure all trainees get the same chance to learn.
