Valterra Platinum, a company that extracts and processes platinum group metals, has opened several entry‑level roles for the 2026 learnership. These positions are a mix of electrical, mechanical and equipment maintenance jobs. Who Can Apply
You must meet at least one of these simple criteria:
Finished Grade 12
- Math: at least 40 %
- Physical Science: at least 40 %
- English: at least 40 %
Have a Level 3 or 4 trade certificate (N3/N4)
- The subjects you need depend on the job.
- For example, a Boilermaker needs knowledge of steelwork and welding, while an Electrician needs electrical theory and diagrams.
Have a Level 4 National Certificate in a trade
- All subjects must be at least 40 % in a relevant field.
