Tshwane South TVET College has partnered with Services SETA and the Department of Higher Education and Training to launch the 2026 Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Programme – a structured 18‑month internship that can give you a head start in the job market.

What Is the Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Programme?

WIL is a mandatory practical phase of South Africa’s TVET qualification. After you finish the theory part of your N1‑N6 studies, you must spend 18 months in a real work setting to earn your National Technical Certificate (N6 Diploma). This programme provides that 18‑month placement under professional supervision, ensuring it meets DHET standards.

Who Should Apply?

Only students who have finished N6 in Tourism or Hospitality can join this year’s cohort. You also need to be a South African citizen and ready to gain the required 18 months of workplace exposure.
