About the Programme
The Cleaning Operations Graduate Programme lasts 12 months and is split into three parts:
- Learning – You will shadow supervisors, learn how to plan schedules, use reporting tools, and track service levels.
- Doing – You will help with daily tasks, support audits, and get involved in budgeting and cost control.
- Leading – As you finish the programme, you will take on small supervisory responsibilities and may be considered for a full‑time role.
You’ll work at one of our main cities: Johannesburg (Midrand), Durban, or Cape Town.
What You’ll Do
- Work with cleaning teams across many client sites.
- Help plan work schedules and keep quality high.
- Take part in health and safety checks.
- Learn the computer systems that track work and contracts.
- Help with basic budgeting and reporting.
- Join client meetings and help answer their questions.
- Assist with special projects like opening new sites or running sustainability campaigns.
Skills We Like
- Comfortable with MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Basic sense of money – can read a simple budget.
- Know the main health and safety rules for cleaning work.
- Work well in a team and can adapt to new tasks.
- Communicate clearly and solve problems quickly.
- Stay calm when the work gets busy.
- Always act honestly and keep customers in mind.
Minimum Qualifications
You must have:
- A National Higher Diploma or an equivalent. OR
- A Bachelor’s degree in one of the following: Operations Management, Business Administration, Facilities Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
If you’ve done an internship or part‑time job in cleaning, facilities, or hospitality, that’s a plus.
