The learnership is designed for Grade 12 graduates who want to build solid skills for the business world. On the other side, you’ll study topics that are useful no matter where you end up working.
What You’ll Learn
The curriculum is built around seven core areas. These are the basics you’ll need for most jobs and they’ll give you a good foundation for future learning:
- Entrepreneurship – how to start and grow a business idea.
- Business Operations – the day‑to‑day activities that keep a company running.
- Customer Service – making sure clients feel valued and supported.
- Business Accounting – tracking money, invoices and budgets.
- Math Literacy – using numbers for everyday tasks.
- Communication Skills – speaking and writing clearly and confidently.
- Computer Skills – working with common software and digital tools.
Besides classroom time, you’ll get to practice these skills right in the workplace. By the end of the program, you’ll feel comfortable with office tasks, have a clear idea of how businesses operate, and be ready to jump into a full‑time role or keep learning.
Who Can Apply?
To be eligible, you need to have finished high school (Grade 12). If you already hold a diploma or a bachelor’s degree, that’s a bonus but not a requirement.
