The mine, located just outside Brits in the North West Province, offers a 36‑month learnership and a 12‑month internship in several engineering and mining fields. Minimum Requirements

  • Finished N2 subjects, or an NCV Level 4 with seven subjects, or a Grade 12 level qualification.
  • At least a 40 % mark (E‑symbol) in the relevant subjects.
  • Good conduct and attendance records.
  • A medical fitness certificate that meets mine health and safety rules.

You must also pass the mandatory subjects for your chosen trade: Mathematics, Engineering Science, Engineering Drawing, and the specific trade theory (Diesel, Electrical, or Plating/Welding).


Internship Programme – 12 Months

If you’re a recent graduate or still studying, the 12‑month internship can give you the practical experience you need to finish your qualification or strengthen your résumé.
