Necsa is looking for unemployed South African TVET graduates to join its Work‑Integrated Learning (WIL) N6 Engineering Programme for 2026. If you’ve finished your N6 in an engineering field and want to get real‑world experience, this internship could be the perfect next step.

What is the WIL Programme?
WIL blends classroom learning with on‑the‑job training. You’ll use the theories you studied in the classroom and apply them while working under a mentor. This mix helps you build the skills employers want and gives you a taste of what life in a professional setting looks like before you graduate.
Necsa wants to help N6 graduates finish their practical training and gain the experience that can set them apart when they start looking for full‑time work in engineering.
Who Can Apply?
- Must be an unemployed South African citizen.
- Age between 18 and 35.
- Hold an N6 qualification.
- You must send a letter from your TVET college that says:
- You’ve completed the theory part of your studies.
- You still need practical experience to graduate.

N6 Electrical Engineering
- Electrician
- Instrumentation
N6 Mechanical Engineering
- Fitting and Turning
- Plater / Boilermaker
- Welder
N6 Civil Engineering – (no specific sub‑areas listed, but any related field is welcome)
N6 Automotive Engineering
- Motor Mechanic
- Auto Electrician
- Diesel Mechanic
