Who can apply?
You need to meet all of these conditions:
- Study level – you must be a third‑year or fourth‑year student in 2026, or a student preparing for an Honours degree in 2026. First‑ or second‑year students are not eligible.
- Field of study – you must be studying exactly one of the following:
- Civil Engineering
- Accounting
- Marketing
- Information Technology (IT)
- Maths and Science Teaching
(Both degree and Honours programmes are acceptable.)
- Location – you must live in one of the N3 Toll Route municipalities listed above. Proof of residence is required and will be checked.
- Citizenship – only South African citizens can apply.
- Academic ability – you must show you can keep up with your studies.
- Financial need – you must prove you need help. The bursary is given based on both merit and need.
