Finance Internship 2026 – A Chance to Start a Career in Money Matters
Are you a recent graduate who doesn’t yet have a job and want to learn how a city’s finances are managed? The Mhlontlo Local Municipality in the Eastern Cape is looking for three new interns for its Finance Internship Programme. This role is for a fixed‑term contract of three years. You’ll get paid between R90,000 and R100,000 a year and work in Qumbu, a town in the Eastern Cape. The internship is a great way to see how a local government budget is created, how money is tracked, and how city assets are taken care of.

Who Can Apply?

- Completed Grade 12 / Matric.
- Hold a three‑year National Diploma or a Bachelor’s degree in one of the following subjects:

- Risk Management
- Business Studies
