About the Apprentice Programme
Our Apprentice Auto Electrician programme blends real‑world training with classroom study. As an apprentice you’ll learn how to wire, diagnose and repair the electrical systems that keep commercial vehicles running. Qualified managers will guide you through each task, and you will also attend technical college courses that give you the theory behind the work. The goal of the programme is to produce highly skilled technicians who can help keep MAN’s vehicles in top condition.
What You’ll Do
- Use every chance to improve your knowledge of auto electrics.
- Pass the exams, trade tests and coursework that the programme requires.
- Go to the technical college and any other training sessions that are part of your schedule.
- Carry out repairs and service work while a senior Auto Electrician watches you.
- Work side‑by‑side with experienced technicians to see how they handle real jobs.
- Offer help to the senior Electricians whenever they need an extra pair of hands.
These tasks give you a full view of what it means to work on a commercial vehicle’s electrical system.
Minimum Qualifications
To qualify, you need an N1 Certificate or higher. Required subjects include:
- Mathematics
- Engineering Science
- Electrical Trade Theory
These subjects give you a good base for the hands‑on work you’ll do.
