Hungry Lion is hiring South African teens for a 12‑month job training program called the YES Learnership 2026, held at the main office in Stellenbosch and at a warehouse in Kraaifontein.
If you’re between 18 and 35, a South African citizen, and you’ve finished Grade 12, this could be a great chance to get a real work experience in a corporate setting. You’ll learn useful skills, build confidence, and be ready for future jobs when the program ends in January 2027.
What the job looks like
You will be a YES Learner. That means you’ll get hands‑on work in an office or warehouse, follow a schedule of learning tasks, and help with day‑to‑day operations. Your boss will give you a list of office duties to finish, and you’ll also go through a series of learning modules that the program requires. These tasks will give you a taste of how a business runs and help you grow in the workplace. Once you’re selected, more details about what you’ll do every day will be shared.
When you can start
- Start date: February 2026
- End date: January 2027
- Application deadline: January 1, 2026
The program runs for a full year, so you’ll spend plenty of time learning and practicing skills that can help you find a job later.
Who can apply
- Age 18–35
- South African citizen
- First time applying to a YES learnership (you can’t have done one before)
- Completed Grade 12 or have a Matric certificate
- Ready to work in either Stellenbosch or Kraaifontein
- Comfortable using a computer
