Are You Eligible?

You must meet the following minimum criteria to be considered:

  • Matric or National Senior Certificate that has been endorsed by Umalusi for diploma or university admission.
  • Life Sciences Level 4 or Biology HL grade D or SG grade C.
  • English Level 4 or HL grade D or SG grade C.
  • Mathematics, Maths Literacy, or Physical Science Level 3 or higher is a bonus.
  • APS/Matriculation score of 24 or higher across your best six subjects (Life Orientation is not counted).
  • Only applicants who live in the Northern Cape will be accepted.
  • We cannot accept applicants who are already registered to study nursing elsewhere.
  • If you have experience or qualifications that could be recognized, we encourage you to apply for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
