The company is known for always looking for new ways to improve, for caring about the planet, and for helping people learn useful skills.
In South Africa, Heineken offers training programmes that help young people finish high‑school and start successful careers in manufacturing and engineering. The company believes that giving people hands‑on training, good mentors, and top‑quality education can help them build a bright future.
What Is a Millwright?
A millwright is a skilled worker who builds, installs, and fixes large machines and plant equipment. Think of it as a “mechanical fixer” who can read blueprints, use a wide range of tools, and understand how all the parts of a machine fit together. Millwrights keep factories running smoothly and safely.
If you enjoy working with tools, solving puzzles, and seeing the results of your work in real machines, a career as a millwright could be a great fit.
