The Corporate Education and Voluntary Compliance Internship at the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC) is a 12‑month paid program for fresh graduates who want to learn what it takes to work in a government office. During the internship you’ll be part of the Corporate Education and Voluntary Compliance division. You’ll work on projects that help the CIPC teach businesses about rules and regulations, and you’ll see how the government keeps things fair and honest.

Who Can Apply?

To qualify you need:

  • Unemployment status in South Africa
  • A completed bachelor’s degree or advanced diploma in one of the following subjects: Multimedia Design, Visual Communication, Digital Communication, Media Studies, or Communications.
  • If your degree is from another country, you must have it checked by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA).
  • Age between 18 and 35 years.
