The eThekwini Municipality has a brand new Engineering Apprenticeship Programme for the years 2025/2026. Why this apprenticeship is a good fit

  • The programme is open to anyone who lives in eThekwini (you’ll need proof of residence).
  • It covers a mix of on‑site work and classroom study, so you’ll get real experience and the theory you need to pass the official tests.
  • The training is approved by the relevant SETA/QCTO and the National Artisan Moderating Body (NAMB), so the certification is respected across South Africa.
  • The municipality is especially encouraging people with disabilities to apply, so everyone gets a fair shot.
