Job Opportunity: EV Manufacturing Artisan Apprenticeship 2025
EISOWAVE (Pty) Ltd is looking for people who love making things to join a special apprenticeship that will train them in building electric buses. This is a real‑world job that lasts 2 to 4 years and takes place at the Nkowakowa Electric Bus Manufacturing Hub inside the Nkowakowa Industrial Park. If you have a Level 4 or N6 TVET College qualification in a craft that involves cars, metal, electrical work, or similar, and you are unemployed or underemployed, you can apply to become an EV (electric vehicle) artisan.

Who Can Apply
- Level 4 or N6 Qualified Artisans

- Those with up to 3 years of experience in automotive or related fields are welcomed.
Minimum Qualifications
You need a Level 4 or N6 TVET College certificate in one of these fields or a closely related area:
- Car body building and spray painting
- Steel welding and fabrication
- Automotive fitting and turning
- Automotive electrician
- Electronics engineering
- Car upholstery
- Mechanical engineering
- Mechatronics
- Chemical engineering
- Electrical engineering
- Plant engineering
- Warehouse logistics
If you have a trade test certificate, a driver’s license, or experience in mining, aerospace, plastics, or circular economy projects, that is a bonus but not a must.
