What the Learnership Looks Like
This one‑year course is split into three parts:
- Production – help make and package products.
- Primary Transport – learn how goods move from factories to warehouses.
- Secondary Distribution – see how items travel from warehouses to stores.
You’ll be on the clock every day, gaining real experience in:
- Warehouse work – receiving, storing and sending out stock.
- Checking inventory so nothing gets lost.
- Using computer systems to track products.
- Working with scanners and weigh‑bridges.
- Keeping the site clean, safe and secure.
- Planning routes and solving problems when deliveries are late.
- Reading and writing invoices, load sheets and reports.
- Storing and handling parts or spare parts.
- Following Good Manufacturing Practice rules so food stays safe.
Who Can Join?
Only South African youth who:
- Are between 18 and 33 years old.
- Have finished Grade 12 (Matric).
- Are not currently working.
- Have never done a learnership before.
