City of Johannesburg Invites suitably qualified applicants to apply for their Internship Programme 2025/2026 vacancies. The closing date for applications is the 22nd October 2025.

The City of Johannesburg (CoJ), through the Department of Environmental Infrastructure Services, is offering great internship jobs for South African graduates who want to learn about city work. You can earn a monthly allowance, work for 18 months, and gain real experience that will help you get a full‑time job later.

Internship Details

  • Location: City of Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa
  • Stipend: R10 109.86 per month (fixed pay, no extra benefits)
  • Duration: 18 months
  • You will sign both an internship contract and an employment contract, promising to finish the full programme.

What you need: A high‑school diploma (Grade 12) and you should be studying for a Diploma or Certificate.
