What You’ll Do Daily
Interns help with:

- Recording daily transactions in the treasury system.
- Assisting the audit team with data checks.
- Writing simple reports that explain cash flow changes.
Training and Projects
The programme is built around learning modules and real projects. You’ll spend a few hours each week on online classes that cover:
- Municipal budgeting basics.
- Financial statements and how to read them.
- Treasury rules and how to keep money safe.
- Basic audit techniques.
After you complete the modules, you’ll use the knowledge to finish small projects, such as drafting a budget for a new community centre or creating a cash‑flow chart for a local event.
