The African Global Skills Academy (AGSA) is a South African, black‑owned training company that helps students gain skills in many areas, like agriculture, construction, energy, hospitality, manufacturing, tech, tourism, and water work. AGSA is partnering with Solarpop to offer bursaries that help students pay their tuition for the 2025 academic year. The bursary can be used by anyone studying at a recognised university or college in South Africa, no matter what subject they choose.
Eligibility Requirements
If you want to apply, you must meet these simple checks:

| Race | You must be African, Coloured, or Indian – the categories recognised by the South African government. |
| School record | You need a Matric certificate (high‑school finished). |

| Field of study | You are studying for any degree, diploma, or certificate. |
| School status | You are enrolled at a recognised and accredited higher education institution in South Africa. |
| Disability | If you live with a disability, you are especially encouraged to apply. |

Get your documents ready
Gather the following copies – they must be certified and not older than six months:- ID
- Matric certificate
- Latest academic transcripts
- Your CV (short and clean)
- Proof of your enrolment at the university/college
- The most recent financial statement from your school
