Hey there! The SAFRIPOL Community is looking for bright South African students who want to study Engineering in 2026. If you live in certain parts of KwaZulu‑Natal, this scholarship could help you cover tuition and other costs at a university that’s approved for Engineering courses.
📅 Deadline: January 31, 2026
Engineering Subjects Covered
The scholarship will support studies in four key Engineering fields:
- Chemical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Instrumentation Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
To be considered, you must live in one of these KwaZulu‑Natal towns: Wentworth, Jacobs, or Bluff.
How the Committee Chooses Winners
Applicants who meet the basic rules will be reviewed on three main points:
- Your Admission Point Score (APS)
- How well you do in school now
- The Engineering field you want to study
Once you’re officially accepted to a South African university for the 2026 academic year, the committee will confirm how much funding you’ll receive. The final decision is made by the SAFRIPOL Bursary Committee.
Who Can Apply?
These are the must‑have conditions:
- You must be a South African citizen.
- Your home has to be in Wentworth, Jacobs, or Bluff.
- Finish high school (Matric) or be currently studying for it.
- Plan to enroll in one of the approved Engineering fields.
- Be accepted or ready to enroll at a recognized university in South Africa.
If you miss any of these points, you can’t be considered for the bursary.
