Engineering Learnerships in Centurion – A Chance for South African Youth to Start a Career
If you’re a South African teen who’s curious about how machines work and wants to get a real job in engineering, this post is for you. Afrimat Lyttelton is looking for young people to join their Engineering Learnership Programme in Centurion, Gauteng. The learnership lets you spend time on a busy industrial site while you learn hands‑on skills and earn a qualification that can help you land a long‑term job in the engineering world.
What is a Learnership?
A learnership is a mix of training and work. You’ll start a contract, work alongside experienced engineers, and take classes that teach you the theory behind the work you do every day. It’s a paid program that gives you practical experience, safety knowledge, and a chance to see what it’s like to be in an industrial environment. The program is open to anyone who has finished Grade 12 (matric) and has the right entry qualification for the specific trade you want to work in.
