What to Keep in Mind

  • The program favors people living in the Mopani District.

Why This Is a Good Chance

Mining is a big part of South Africa’s economy. Getting a few months of hands‑on work can help you understand the day‑to‑day tasks of a mining job. You’ll also learn how to work in teams, keep safety rules in mind, and use special tools and equipment. The stipend means you won’t have to worry about paying for travel or living expenses while you’re training.

A Quick Checklist Before You Send

  • Check that your email address is correct.
  • Confirm that every document is signed and notarised if needed.
  • Read the cover letter once more to make sure you mentioned the right reference code.
  • Save a copy of everything you send for your own records.

After You Submit

Wait for a message from the recruitment team. If you’re selected, they’ll explain the next steps and what you’ll need to bring. If you hear nothing in two weeks, you can politely check in, but usually it means they’ve chosen someone else.

Apply Now – Send your paperwork to careers@stibium.co.za and start the first real step toward a career in mining. Good luck!
