This internship will give you a full work experience in a government office in Pretoria, with a monthly pay of R12,000. The role is open to four interns and will help you build real skills in planning, running and reviewing projects.

About the Internship
The CIPC, which works under the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (DTIC), wants to help young people turn their university studies into real jobs. This internship lasts two years and focuses on project management – the process of keeping projects on time and on budget. You will learn how to support teams, keep records, and use tools that are common in the field.

If you get chosen, you will sign a Graduate Internship Programme Agreement with the CIPC.
Minimum Requirements
To apply you need to meet these basics:
- Be a South African citizen aged 18 to 35.
- Hold a Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in Project Management.
- Know at least one project method such as Agile or Waterfall.
- Having a certification like CAPM or PRINCE2 Foundation is a plus.
- Be currently unemployed and have no previous work experience.
- Never have taken part in another internship program.
Key Responsibilities
As an intern you will:
- Help plan and monitor projects from start to finish.
- Keep documentation and write reports for the team.
- Learn to use popular project‑management software.
- Work with different groups on internal and external projects.
- Support the use of Agile or Waterfall approaches within the office.
