Transnet is calling recently qualified South African artisans to apply for the Work Integrated Technical Learner (WITL) Programme 2026/2027. The closing dates are between 13 October and 15 October 2026, so you must act now.

What the opportunity is

The WITL Programme offers a 24‑month learnership on Trans Net sites across the country. You will work side‑by‑side with experienced professionals, receive mentorship, and get real‑world technical experience.

Who can apply

To be eligible you must:

  • Be a South African citizen aged 18‑35.
  • Hold a Trade Test or Red Seal Certificate in the relevant trade.
  • Have completed the trade test within the last four years.
  • Have less than one year of post‑qualification work experience.
