What the programme offers

The Hollard Unemployed Youth Learnership gives you a chance to work in the insurance industry while studying for a nationally recognised NQF Level 4 Insurance Qualification. You’ll split your time between classroom‑style learning and hands‑on work in Johannesburg’s Parktown office.

Who can apply

You must meet all of the following criteria:

  • South African citizen
  • Age 18‑28
  • Matric (Grade 12) completed
  • Currently unemployed and not studying
  • Not enrolled in another learnership
  • Fluent English communication

Academic minimums:

  • English – 60 % or higher
  • Second language – pass
  • Mathematics – 50 % or higher

If you took Mathematical Literacy, you need 60 % or higher in that subject.
