Government Printing Works Internships 2027/2029 – Apply by 19 Oct 2026

Graduates who are currently unemployed have a real chance to start their careers now – the Government Printing Works is offering 45 graduate internship positions for the 2027/2029 financial year.

What the internship programme is

The Government Printing Works (GPW) will run a 24‑month graduate internship programme. It is designed to give you hands‑on work experience that matches your qualification. The stipend is R8 174.75 per month. Internships are based in Pretoria, Gauteng, and the Sales – Regional Warehouse positions are in East London, Eastern Cape.

Who can apply

  • You must be a South African citizen.
  • You must be unemployed at the time of application.
  • You need the qualification listed for the specific internship.
  • You must not have taken part in any GPW internship before.
  • Each internship you want must be applied for separately, using the correct title and reference number.
  • If your qualification is from abroad, you must have it evaluated by SAQA.

How to apply – step by step

  1. Download the new Z83 application form from the official GPW advert.
  2. Complete the form and sign it.
  3. Prepare an up‑to‑date CV.
  4. Choose the internship(s) you want. Remember – each vacancy has its own link (Grad2601 to Grad2637).
  5. Send an email to the link provided for the specific vacancy. In the subject line write the exact job title and reference number.
  6. Attach ONLY the completed Z83 form and your CV. Keep the total attachment size under 2 MB. Do not include pictures, zip files or PDFs other than the required documents.
  7. If you prefer, you can hand‑deliver your application to:

Do not fax your application. The deadline is 19 October 2026 at 16:00 for hand‑delivered submissions and 23:59 on the same day for online applications.
