South African National Parks (SANParks) is offering a timely EPWP Skilled Environmental Monitor role that could jump‑start your career in conservation.

What the opportunity is

SANParks needs four Skilled Environmental Monitors for the Technical Department at Marakele National Park, Limpopo. The positions are fixed‑term, paid at R311 per day, and run until 31 March 2027.

Who can apply (requirements)

To be considered you must have:

  • Grade 12 certificate
  • 1–2 years of hands‑on experience in a maintenance setting
  • Basic knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act
  • Ability to work under pressure and in unfavourable conditions

Extra points are given for:

  • Technical training in plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, bricklaying, air‑conditioning or refrigeration
  • A valid driver’s licence
