The FAIS Ombud is offering a 12‑month HR Graduate Internship in Pretoria, and the deadline is fast approaching – you have until 15 September 2026 to apply.

What the internship is

This is a structured Graduate Training Programme run by the FAIS Ombud. You will be placed in the Human Resources Department for a full year on a contract basis. The role is paid at market‑related rates and includes mentorship and exposure to many HR functions.

Who can apply (eligibility)

To be considered, you must meet all of the following criteria:

  • Hold a Diploma (NQF Level 6) or Degree (NQF Level 7) in Human Resource Management or a related field.
  • Be a South African citizen with a valid ID document.
  • Demonstrate a strong academic record and high integrity.
  • Show interest in public service and the financial sector.
  • Be computer‑literate and able to handle a demanding work environment.
  • Be willing to learn, work extra hours if needed, and meet deadlines.
  • Possess an energetic, self‑driven attitude.

Preference will be given to black female applicants from designated groups and people living with disabilities, in line with the FAIS Ombud’s Employment Equity objectives.
