What the opportunity is
This is the NTE Electrical Apprenticeship Programme 2026. It offers a three‑year apprenticeship that blends college learning with hands‑on work at the Iswepe Factory in South Africa. At the end of the programme you will sit for the trade test required to be recognised as an electrician.
Who can apply
You must meet all of the following:
- Be aged between 18 and 23 years.
- Have a Grade 12 certificate.
- Have studied Mathematics and Physical Science at Grade 12.
- Hold an N2 qualification that includes a relevant trade theory subject.
- Show good interpersonal skills, self‑management, and a strong work ethic.
Only one apprenticeship (Electrician – 1 post) is available.
