What the learnership offers

Metropolitan Life will run a one‑year learnership that begins in October 2026. The programme blends classroom learning with on‑the‑job training and leads to a Wealth Management NQF Level 4 qualification. It is open in the following South African cities:

  • Johannesburg
  • Port Elizabeth
  • King Williams Town
  • Mthatha
  • Mafikeng
  • Soweto / West Rand

Who can apply

To be eligible you must meet all of the following criteria:

  • South African citizen by birth
  • Unemployed and aged between 18 and 34 years
  • Grade 12 or an equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification
  • Member of a previously disadvantaged group (people with disabilities are especially encouraged to apply)
